In the 2nd of December it was constituted one more company of Marques Group, the Marques Ambiente, which social purpose is the development, management, construction and exploration of systems and infra-structures in the environment area, namely in the management and services rendered of urbane cleaning, gathering, storage, transference, transportation to final destiny, treatment and elimination of solid, urbane, industrials, hospitable, toxics and dangerous residues and others. It also includes the realization of all the kin activities, namely the elaboration of studies, environmental and engineering projects, formation actions, sensitization and environmental education, services rendered of inspection and technical assistance, as well as the exercise of all the correlative or accessory activities when it appears necessary or convenient to the interest of the society.

The company has an initial capital stock of € 25.000 and its headquarters is at Joaquim Marques street, number 34, Ribeira Grande, São Miguel, Açores. The management is constituted by Engineer Primitivo Marques, Engineer João Marques and Rui Furtado.
