The ClÃnica de São Sebastião, a health care sector company belonging to the Marques Group, is a private institution of reference in the area which serves the population of the island on which it is based as well as the population of the remaining islands of the archipelago, tourists and foreigners. Cuidar e Viver
One of the areas of activity of the company Marques Inovação e Ambiente is Health, with the CUIDAR E VIVER project.It comprises a Geriatrics Unit and, soon, a Convalescence Unit. The CUIDAR e VIVER project provides Health Support Services. The aim of the Geriatrics Unit is to try to restore health and maintain or improve the degree of physical and mental independence to limit functional deterioration. The Geriatrics Unit includes the following services: Geriatrics Consultation; Integrated Care for the Geriatric Patient and Home Hospitalization. We provide service to the population of São Miguel and also, in the case of the Geriatric Consultation, we intend to cover the population of Santa Maria Island.
